This will be an inside and outside practical & educational session that is designed to provide attendees with both suitable knowledge and skills to capture amazing images of a variety of the many ‘Secret Faces’ located in & around the Cathedral. It also incorporates an opportunity to capture some of the architecture of the Cathedral building. The practical session will aim to provide attendees with an array of creative and
detailed images, utilising the available light & camera settings. Guidance will be given on camera settings, composition etc throughout the session.
Suitable camera types: Compact, CSC, Bridge, DSLR or Mirror less – any of these can be suitable but they must allow you to change exposure settings – a snapshot style camera (auto exposure only) will not be suitable.
Objectives:
1. To understand how to capture the various ‘Faces’ in the best detail
2. How to overcome the most common errors in camera settings and composition
3. To achieve improved results over what may have previously been captured
4. Have fun learning techniques, styles and settings to capture great images
5. To enjoy & share your secret Cathedral Faces & Architecture images
Upon completion you will be able to: acquire and retain much greater confidence when capturing detailed photographs, with greater control of camera settings & composition, whilst considering the available lighting & potential backgrounds within the scene. Your images will be greatly improved with greater control of the focus and composition
