Sunda Talks: Can Eat Ah? Tales of a Malaysian Nature Guide

“𝗖𝗮𝗻 𝗘𝗮𝘁 𝗔𝗵” is the most often heard question posed to nature guides. Join 𝘼𝙛𝙞𝙛 𝙉𝙖𝙝𝙧𝙪𝙡 𝙖.𝙠.𝙖. 𝙒𝙖𝙝𝙝 𝘼𝙛𝙞𝙛, guardian of the Pulai Trail, as he shares about his trials and triumphs along nature trails at Sunda Shelves on 19th October 2025.

Over the years, Wahh Afif has guided all kinds of groups and ages, from students and families to professionals and academics, and have also shared his experiences with aspiring nature guides.

In this session, he will share what he has learned (and unlearned) along the way, from handling different types of groups to finding the right balance between facts and storytelling. There will be explorations about nature interpretation, group dynamics, and a few honest lessons from the trail.
