Please join us for a day of learning and creating. In this workshop you will learn the basics of tapestry, using simple frame looms. Tapestry is an ancient, simple, technique, which inspires contemplation. It can be functional, as in rugs, decorative, or both! Prewarped looms, tools, and tapestry yarns will be provided.
Kathleen has always been captivated by patterns and design in nature. Her focus these days is to interpret memories and patterns from the natural world through tapestries, as well as having a conversation with color, light and fiber.
This workshop is open to ages 16 and above, under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
