Year 9 Parent Information Evening - Dealing With Teens
Year 9 families are invited to join us for a parent information evening where a panellist will discuss and answer your questions about communication, setting boundaries and dealing with teen behaviour.

Date: Thursday 5th June
Time: 6:00-7:30pm (Parent Commitment Hours may be claimed for attending this session per family)
Venue: Performing Arts Complex at St Mark's

Topics Include:
~ The Art of Positive Communication with Teens
~ Setting Healthy Boundaries without over-parenting
~ The behaviours that are being observed…. What’s in the media….
~ Brayden will chat about our Year 9 Program and Partnership with Happiness Co. What has been addressed with your child/ren so far and what is to follow.

Julian Pace – Founder & CEO, Happiness Co

His powerful storytelling and practical tools for personal leadership and emotional resilience leave audiences feeling empowered and equipped to create positive change.

Tenneille Quin – Provisional Psychologist & Parenting Educator

Tenneille is a provisional psychologist with a deep passion for supporting parents and strengthening the parent–child connection. With nearly 15 years of experience as a police officer and detective, much of it spent investigating child abuse and family violence, she witnessed firsthand the lifelong impact of early relationships. This ignited a desire to shift from crisis response to prevention. Now, through her psychology training and her work as a mental health advisor, Tenneille empowers families to navigate parenting with insight, empathy, and evidence-based strategies.

Brayden Ainsworth – Youth Mental Health Team Leader

Brayden is a passionate advocate for young adults, committed to fostering mental, social and emotional well-being. His mission is to equip individuals with the tools to embrace their authentic selves and build lives rooted in resilience, connection and purpose.

Growing up, Brayden discovered the transformative power of understanding one’s emotions and values. He experienced firsthand how embracing vulnerability and building strong connections could turn challenges into growth. This journey ignited a deep purpose to empower others to break free from societal pressures, explore their inner world and cultivate unshakable self-belief.

Brayden’s approach is grounded in authenticity and relatability. He inspires individuals to confront their true feelings, own their values and create a life that thrives from within. Through his work in pre-emptive mental health, he’s not just teaching well-being he’s helping others live it.
