Winterland 2026 is back and perfect for Family Day! Gather the whole family for a day of snowy adventures, fireside treats, and farmstead fun—plus, as a bonus, it’s Valentine’s Day, so parents and couples can enjoy a little extra romance in the winter woods.
Spend the day exploring groomed snowshoe trails, sliding down the Farm Hill Toboggan run, and warming up by crackling fires. With scenic hikes, cozy cabin stops, and farm-fresh food, Winterland blends outdoor adventure with indulgent comfort for all ages.
Explore the Back Forty
• 5+ kms of groomed snowshoe trails through farm fields, forests, river views, and winding creeks
• Self-guided trail experience with a mid-hike cabin rest stop
• Off-grid bush cabin destination, where guests will be welcomed by friend of the farm, Chef Nick Valliquette, serving specialty hot beverages and fireside treats
• Farm Hill Toboggan runs, free to enjoy and fun for all ages (bring your own sled)
Guests are encouraged to bring their own snowshoes and toboggans. Limited snowshoe rentals are available on-site.

Perfectly timed for Valentine’s Day, we’re excited to offer private rustic sauna packages along Black Creek.
Designed for couples or small groups (up to 4 guests), this experience invites you to:
• Hike to the secluded sauna cabin
• Enjoy a private wood-fired sauna surrounded by winter woods, with the soothing sounds of the
babbling creek and nearby waterfall
A unique winter ritual—intimate and relaxing.

• The outdoor wood-fired oven will be hot, featuring our signature Bonnechere grilled cheese and hearty whey-fed pork chili
• Warm up around licensed fire pits with your favorite hot or cold beverage
• Visit the cheese shop to stock up on Back Forty Artisan Cheese and heritage meats, including pasture- raised lamb and whey-fed pork.
