-----
Cath has a lifelong love of nature and plants rooted in childhood and deepened through the study of horticulture over 25 years ago - Cath brings an intimate knowledge of the plant world into her creative practice.
Her basketry and weaving journey emerged organically from spending time in her own garden with an urge to recover and repurpose green waste. Drawn to the sculptural and textural potential of plant materials, she began exploring how these natural elements could be transformed into meaningful art.
See her work as part of the Narrative Threads exhibition at The Laneway Artspace during September
