Come and explore a felting technique with endless possibilities. Julia Andrijasevich will help you discover where this meditative skill can lead. From simple adornment on clothing, a beaded necklace, to the more developed skill of 3D sculpture.
With a bundle of wool fibre and a barbed needle, this is where learning begins.
Each participant will receive needles and kits to take home
This workshop is $110, all materials are provided and participants will receive a kit to take home to continue their felt stitching journey. Maximum of 10 participants.
Event will be held at The Laneway Artspace, Bayswater (read of 5 King William Street)

Julia has had a long involvement with fibre and textiles and is strongly influenced by a longstanding family heritage in craftsmanship. Wool fibres are central to her work, valued for their unique property of memory retention. Through sculptural textile art, Julia investigates the intricate relationships that shape human experience, with the intention of evoking emotion and offering representation to voices that are frequently overlooked.
