Get into gardening with this new collaborative experience with The Walled Garden in Perth, crafting and creating a rainbow gardening plot!
Join the team at The Walled Garden in Perth, and create a new rainbow garden plot with their guidance and support. This free 12-week programme, run over 6 fortnightly sessions, gives you a chance to get into gardening no matter your current knowledge or skills.
These sessions will be supported by the team of gardeners on site, with guidance around planning the plot, understanding different plant types, and how to create a healthy flowering patch. There will be plenty of opportunity to see the Walled Garden as well, and the team are happy to answer any questions you may have.
The dates of each session are Wednesdays from 1pm - 3pm:
-Wednesday 16th April
-Wednesday 30th April
-Wednesday 14th May
-Wednesday 28th May
-Wednesday 11th June
-Wednesday 25th June
Please note that we will aim to run all these sessions as planned, though weather may impact some of the activities planned. A sheltered cafe space is available on site, and we recommend bringing waterproofs and footwear you don't mind getting a bit muddy with you, and checking weather forecasts before coming along. Small belongings can be stored during your time in the garden.
We ask that at the time of registering, you are able to attend all the above dates to get the most of this programme. If any of the dates become unsuitable down the line, please do contact us to let us know. As spaces are limited , we will accept people onto a waiting list should any spaces become available.
