🔥 CHRISTIAN SMITH - BIO 🔥​

Christian Smith is one of the world’s leading exponents of techno, both as a DJ and producer he is always bold and innovative. With his output in recent years it is hard to imagine a list of prolific producers without his name towards the top. He has been at the top of his game for over two decades with his trademark groovy techno.

In 1995 he started his label Tronic, since then it has dominated the charts with releases from Christian himself and the likes of ANNA, Enrico Sangiuliano, Paco Osuna, Drunken Kong, Wehbba, Ramon Tapia, and more. The label has been the top selling techno label in the world according to Beatport, and is soon to celebrate its 500th release.

Christian has dominated the charts and DJ’s playlists with a steady flow of releases on many high profile labels like Drumcode, Filth On Acid, Trick, Symbolism, Bedrock, and Tronic. His last EP on Tronic reached #1 spot on Beatport in both Techno and Electro in January of 2024.

Christian also ventured into his own branded night in Ibiza at mega club Eden. He was also invited to host Tronic events all over the world from Tokyo, Detroit, Los Angeles, and London amongst many others.

🔥 DRUNKEN KONG - BIO 🔥​

Drunken Kong is the project of D. Singh. Since his debut in 2011, Drunken Kong has captivated audiences with powerful performances at renowned Japanese clubs like WOMB, AGEHA, and CONTACT TOKYO, establishing himself as a major presence in the techno scene.

He has released numerous tracks on some of the worldʼs leading labels, including Christian Smithʼs Tronic, Monika Kruseʼs Terminal M, Borisʼs Transmit, gaining both domestic and international acclaim for his distinctive sound.

In 2022, Drunken Kong achieved the top spot in Beatportʼs annual techno sales, delivering multiple hit tracks that solidified their impact on the genre. In 2023, he made waves as the first Asian artist to release an EP, I Want To See, on Adam Beyerʼs prestigious Drumcode label.

Following this success, he continued to release on Drumcode, and in 2024, his collaborative EP Sakura with Bart Skils, featuring the standout track Set It Right, consistently held a place in the top 10 of Beatportʼs techno chart.

Drunken Kong has mesmerised global audiences at festivals such as Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), SONAR OFF WEEK, ULTRA JAPAN, ULTRA KOREA, Germanyʼs Burning Beach Festival, and Bosniaʼs Freshwave Festival. His rich experience as a DJ and engineer fuel his pursuit of an evolving sound, making Drunken Kong a must-experience for techno enthusiasts worldwide.
