"STOP THE VIOLENCE 8 FESTIVAL"

BOOM: The 'STOP THE VIOLENCE FESTIVAL' is back after a 5 Year Hiatus for its 8th Edition, and this time we are bringing it back to PERTH for the first time since 2018. Up until now it's been held @ The Burlington Hotel, Bunbury. Presented by 'GLOBAL METAL MACHINE' This Is an ANTI-VIOLENCE Metal/Punk/Harcore and Alternative Music Festival that raises money and awareness for Victims of Domestic Violence (We raised over $10'000 for the cause on first run of shows between December 2016 and December 2020) 💥💥💥💥💥💥

STVFEST Started in December 2016 as a 8 Band Metal Mini-Festival, and 3 More rolling Mini-Festivals followed throughout 2017(All @ The Burley / Bunbury). In 2018 we expanded it into a 20 Band Festival that hit Perth (for the very first time) and Bunbury over 2 consecutive weekends. This concept was a huge success. 2019 was our biggest and most treasured festival as The GMM Team put on an emotional Event that was simply shaped by intense grief after our close family friend was murdered. This was a Heart wrenching tribute to her. 'STOP THE VIOLENCE 6: SUNFLOWERS FOR CARA' Was an absolutely devastating but powerful Event. Only those that were there and were grieving will understand what I mean! 30 Bands over 3 stages, many of whom knew Cara. It was truly one of the Events that you can't explain unless you were there. We finished with STOP THE VIOLENCE 7: A CELEBRATION OF LIFE FESTIVAL in 2020 with another 30 bands on 3 stages on one day...This was definitely another awesome event but also the Event that Broke me after Dealing with all of the covid/Restrictions along with an array of other issues (Both Personal and Professional). STV7 was postponed twice but eventually went ahead in December of that year. This was also very memorable as STV7 was the One that I booked 'JAMART' for, ERSH jumped on the GMM Team and our friendship Started to develop into the powerful brotherhood that we share today. Over that time the 'STOP THE VIOLENCE FESTIVAL' raised over $10000 for Relationships Australia / Southwest and as a community we certainly did make a difference in the lives of Domestic Violence Survivors...

Now with Domestic Violence statistics going through the roof, The issue is worse than ever. For this reason the world needs this Festival more than ever. So STOP THE VIOLENCE 8 will be the first in a Re-Booted run of STV Shows to raise money and more importantly bring Much needed Awareness to this Major DV Issue plaguing Australia right Now. STVFEST has come full circle and is now happening @ Perth's Newest ALL AGES Venue 'Ersh and Kimberlys' (JamArt Sound lounge). 9 Band TBA are going to be on the Bill for this very special Event and I will start announcing the bands straight away.
