A bit more regularity in POWA’s scheduling returned to our meetings this past weekend, which means that POWA finally managed to have some voting done!
Our newest show in our lineup, our Comedy “Kakushigoto” had its first, episode 4 vote this past week, and alongside our Mature, Horror & Thriller series “Vinland Saga’s” second, episode 8 vote, survived their tribulations, sticking into our lineup for the foreseeable future.
This week also brings some voting, with the second, episode 8 vote of our Action & Sports series, “Spy X Family”. So, membership checks abound, I'm sure, as everyone will want to have a say in whether or not it remains in our lineup!
Please note: SupaNova is coming to Perth the weekend of the 28th and 29th of this month, and as is tradition when large conventions come to town, POWA will not be screening on that weekend - the 29th - so as to stop people having to decide to skip out on a convention to attend POWA. Enjoy the convention-slash-sunday off!
Entry for our weekly screenings is $4 for members and $5 for guests – However, your first time is free! Every entry prior to our break receives a raffle ticket for a weekly prize. We will be in the upstairs meeting rooms of the City of Joondalup Library. Our doors will open at the same time as the library – 1:00PM – and we will start screening at 1:30PM, leaving you time to find the room and settle down with some drinks and snacks.
