Before they were the best of friends, they were the worst of enemies! Pixar's delightful 2013 prequel takes us back to Mike and Sulley's college days at Monsters University, where the one-eyed optimist Mike Wazowski (Billy Crystal) dreams of becoming a Scarer despite lacking natural talent, while the naturally gifted James P. Sullivan (John Goodman) coasts on his abilities without putting in the work.

When their rivalry gets them both kicked out of the Scaring Program, they must join forces with the misfit fraternity Oozma Kappa to compete in the Scare Games and prove they belong. This heartwarming tale explores themes of friendship, perseverance, and discovering that sometimes your dreams might lead you somewhere unexpected but equally wonderful.
