🌿 A Long Table for Sharon & Dean 🌿
A BYO Garden Lunch Fundraiser
I have set this event up for Dean & Sharon.. We haven't had a big get together for a while - so what better way to do what we do best - eat, drink, laugh, be merry....... and throw some serious bank notes to this wonderful couple.
To increase the funds, we will be introducing a
1. $1 Swear jar
2. $1 Inappropriate comment box
3. $1 '"Sorry"' bucket
We see which gets the most money at the end of the day! So bring all your dollar coins as I'm sure you will all have empty pockets by the day's end.
Any other ideas? Throw them in the mix!
$50 entry - All proceeds go to Dean & Sharon.

On 31st August, we're setting the longest, most love-filled table we can muster — right in TLC's home and garden — for two incredibly brave and beautiful souls: Sharon & Dean.
You may have seen their story in the news — both lost their right legs in a tragic accident. Now, it’s our turn to rally around them with love, laughter, support, and yes, a little fundraising magic.
🪑 HOW IT WORKS:
This isn’t your average catered event — it’s community spirit, picnic-style.
✨ BYO Everything:
Bring your own tables, chairs, food, and drinks — picnic rug, wine, sandwiches or silver service, you do you.
✨ I’ll provide the space & the sparkle:
My home and garden will be open to you — think fairy lights, music, lawn games, and warm vibes.
'80's Reloaded' will be playing - bringing you live music to groove to all afternoon
✨ You bring the atmosphere & donations:
Come with your hearts full and wallets open. All proceeds will go directly to help Sharon & Dean adjust to their new lives — covering essential mobility aids, rehab, prosthetics with sparkles, and restoring some joy after so much loss. Yes, insurance covers some but there is much of a void as the following news reel explains:
