Community Planting Day - June

Rewild your weekend and plant like nobody’s watching. Together we’re bringing the biodiversity back to Vic Park!

Each year, the Town runs community planting days as part of the Urban Forest Strategy. Taking place during our planting season, from June to September, we invite community members to help expand our urban forest canopy and understorey.

Join us for one or both planting sessions!

Sunday 29 June, 9AM -12PM
Sunday 27 July, 9AM - 12PM

For our June event we’ve got the legends from Carnaby’s Crusaders coming to chat all things cockatoo conservation, plus they'll be bringing along some very handsome feathered friends for you to meet! Learn from the experts how you can help protect these incredible creatures.

On the day we’ll also be planting out banksias, jarrah, marri and acacia seedlings, all important food sources that will support our native wildlife into the future
