Delivered by Sarah Brown, Charity Law Specialist, this one-hour in person session is ideal for new trustees as part of their induction, or for those wanting a refresher on their legal duties and governance responsibilities.
The session will provide a clear and practical overview of what it means to be a charity trustee, helping participants understand both the legal framework and the practical realities of the role.
By the end of the session, trustees will be equipped with the knowledge and confidence to carry out their role effectively, make informed decisions, and support their charity in achieving its mission while staying compliant and well-governed.
Parking available and less than 5 mins walk from bus and train stations.
Hosted by Perth & Kinross Third Sector Interface and fully funded by the Gannochy Trust.
