The Bulls are proud to be hosting our second annual Big Freeze round to help raise vital funds for two important causes to the club - MND and Doc’s fight against the disease.
Graham ‘Doc’ Hibbert is a life member and legend of the club who has always embodied the spirit of the Bulls.
He is a leader of the club both on and off the field - a 2015 premiership player and a former executive committee member.
During many off seasons, Doc worked hard to retain the playing group through social and fitness ideas. He was also responsible for organising the club’s scoreboard which we have only just retired, and our honour board.
He is an integral part of this club and now it’s our turn to do everything we can to help him and his family as they fight this disease 💙
Similar to last year, we will have six people step up to receive a bucket of ice water dumped on their heads.
You have two opportunities to have a say on how this happens through two auctions - with the proceeds of both going directly to Doc and his family to help with their fight against MND.
The first auction will determine what our dunkees will wear for the ice bucket challenge. As we reveal who our dunkees are, you can put in a bid to choose their outfit. The highest bid wins the honour of choosing any costume you like (family friendly).
There will also be two spots open to bid for both who the dunkee will be and what they will wear - 2 for the price of 1!
The two highest bids will be our last two dunkees on the day.
Nominations and bids will open as we reveal our dunkees, and close one week before the event - 10pm Thursday 5 June.
So start thinking about who you want to be dunked and how much you’re willing to pay to see it happen!
The second auction will be for who gets to throw the ice water. Again, highest bidder will get the privilege with all six spots up for grabs!
This will be done on the day.
All players will also wear the Big Freeze socks for the game, with all funds from these going to FightMND.

You can buy at the club on training nights or on the day.
You can also order via the post in this event and transfer, and we can get the merch to you.
