Bogan Shakespeare Presents: Macbeth
Down at the local Cricket Club, you’ll find a man named Macca. He’s a simple bloke, doesn’t need or ask for much past the occasional beer… or seven. That is, until one day he is approached by a mysterious trio of tuck shop ladies and told one day he will ascend to a position of great power, club president. We watch his rise and fall from grace, through ups and downs, deception, betrayal and even a cheeky murder or two.
We are doing this one “old school”. An esky, some camper chairs, a cheeky bit of lights and sound and a whole lotta flanno. Taking things back to our roots with a low budget, high energy show for the fans who remember and the ones who missed it. It’s gonna be a rippa!
And it means we can keep those tickets cheap as! So that ain’t bad neither.
