This May and June, we’re proud to collaborate with Blak Dingo Club to present a free film series and quiz night in honour of National Reconciliation Week (27 May - 3 June). Join us each week as we celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander film history, actors, filmmakers, producers and stories.
For this session, we’re screening Top End Wedding - a heartfelt Australian romantic comedy set across the stunning Northern Territory. The story follows Lauren and Ned, a couple who have just 10 days to find Lauren’s missing mother before their dream wedding can happen. Their journey takes them through beautiful landscapes, family secrets and heartfelt reunions, in a joyful celebration of love, culture and connection.
Please note: Top End Wedding is rated M (Mature) for mature themes, coarse language and sexual references.
A short film will also be screened before the main feature - details coming soon!
