This workshop audition allows actors to work together in various exercises and activities such as drama games, improvisation, or devising to be cast, rather than just a traditional monologue or scene audition.
It will allow the director, Gail Lusted, to see how actors interact with each other and the material in an organic way, which can help find the right chemistry for the play.
The only preparation is to be familiar with the script and characters. Actors auditioning for the play, please arrive by 10:45 AM, for a 11:00 AM start - running until 2 PM.
Please bring snacks/lunch.

ABOUT THE PLAY
Chaucer's classic collection of tales comes to life in a brilliant full-length adaptation. A group of travellers set out for Canterbury on a pilgrimage. To pass the time they entertain each other with a storytelling contest. Best story wins a prize.
Every performer gets a chance to shine in this spirited, charming script. Great characters, OTT, lots of humour, and strong ensemble work. Text uses modern English.
The characters from the Tales may be doubled up, giving actors a chance to explore more than one role.
