Wondering how your Assistance Dog in Training is progressing? Our Assessment Day provides a formal evaluation to measure their current skills, identify areas for future training, and help you understand their readiness.
New to the program? Bring your dog along for an initial assessment to see if they have what it takes!
Receive a detailed physical assessment form at the end of your session.
Important Guidelines:
All dogs must remain on lead at all times.
No dog-to-dog greetings within the WAAT Dogs designated area.
Follow all staff directions and signage.
Certain areas have strict dog capacity limits.
All teams must sign in to receive an assessment.
Dogs displaying aggression or poor control may be asked to leave.
You may bring a support person with you.
Join us for a structured and supportive assessment experience to help you and your dog succeed!
