learn the chemistry of sourdough, Get a hands-on lesson, learn baking techniques to try your hand at this delicious loaf. No previous skills necessary, just a burning desire to make your own sourdough bread, building enough skill to start making your own artisan sourdough bread at home. Please bring a container, to take some bread home if we have leftovers, your purchase of the starter is ($10) all other supplies and ingredients are supplied!
$89/ pp, plus starter $10, usually small classes so you get full attention and I show you the whole 24 hour cycle of baking with sourdough in the class by having samples at different stages and every one gets a chance to sample the techniques. You also get to try some warm bread which is usually very popular 😋 $55 deposit is payable in advance to reserve a spot.
learn to make your own delicious bread the way it's supposed to be made, using just 3 ingredients (rather than 30 like most store bought bread). You may even find (like I have) that gluten intolerant people can eat your bread with no negative effects due to the high dose of Lactobacilli, the friendly bacteria as well as enzymes required to break down and digest the bread.
