Kamatchi Devi Subramanian - Beautiful Strangers and Mondays

We are excited to be hosting a celebration for the release of "Beautiful Strangers and Mondays" by Kamatchi Devi Subramanian on Saturday, July 26, 2025!

We meet strangers every day. Be it on a bus, train, or a flight, every traveler, no matter how far you travel together, and it don’t matter if you have the same or different destinations. For a little while, they share their journey together. Their timeline intertwines. Some might even share their wildest dreams, and craziest adventures. And with intense sparks flying off their eyes when they talk about something they are passionate about, it is hard not to fall in love with the human in front of you.

When a complete stranger turns your boring Monday into the wildest adventure ever, you feel compelled to turn your journey into artwork and share it with more beautiful souls. This book is an ode to those micro moments. To those unapologetic humans who are authentic and hopeful even on the days when it feels like the world is on fire.

Kamatchi Devi Subramanian is a bilingual creative writer, rendering emotions as Tamil and English poems. Country roads and country songs are her thing. Originally from the state of Tamil Nadu, India, currently calls the state of Ohio her home. She loves photography, snowflakes and prefers to eat samosas with waffles for dinner.
