An Introduction to Spirit Prayer Songs and the Inipi (sweat lodge) Ceremony

Join us for a special gathering with our friend Steve, who will introduce us to the sacred traditions of the Lakota Inipi (sweat lodge) ceremony. Inipi, is a powerful purification ritual that uses prayer, songs, and the elements to connect with the spirit world.

Through this workshop, we will explore the significance of the four doors of life within the ceremony and learn traditional Lakota prayer songs that have been passed down through generations.

These songs hold deep spiritual meaning, carrying prayers to the Creator and the spirits. Steve will guide us in understanding the sacred intention behind these songs, emphasizing the importance of respect, authenticity, and the proper way to share them.
