Rose Talk

Join our Museum Curator at Forest Park Museum on Sunday, October 12 at 1:30 for a look at the Museum Rose collection. We will look at the three kinds of Roses in the Forest Park collection. The museum is particularly proud of our five rose collection developed by Dr. Griffin Buck at ISU. Roses can be a beautiful and low maintenance addition to our landscapes in Central Iowa if hardy Iowa adapted Roses are utilized. We will discuss the characteristics and care of these Roses and how they can add to beauty and habitat to your property. Come discover our Iowa Roses!
