August Field Trip- Macon County Sod Farms

Fieldtrip, 8 am, Sat. August l6th, 2025: This month's outing will be to the Macon County sod farms and other locations west of Perry where birds willingly endure the last of Georgia's summer heat. This is a good beginner's trip. There is limited walking and many of the sightings will be through scopes.
An experienced member finds a good bird, then a newcomer can step up and be certain what they are looking at. Be prepared for summer heat, summer rain or both. We will car pool from the Perry Cracker Barrel parking lot.
