Discover the impact of BushBank! Join us for a 'Walk and Talk' event at a local BushBank site in Peronne to learn how we're transforming landscapes and supporting biodiversity. You’ll hear directly from the owners of the property and see revegetation efforts firsthand.
What is BushBank?
As an initiative of the Victorian Government, the $77m BushBank program is addressing climate change by restoring 20,000 hectares of land, through supporting private landowners to undertake projects on their land.
It’s the most ambitious environmental restoration program in Victoria’s history.
If you’re a member of the local community, a landowner interested in boosting biodiversity on your property or simply passionate about our wildlife, we invite you to join us at our Walk & Talk where you’ll:
Come connect with your local environment & see for yourself how strategic revegetation is creating thriving ecosystems and benefiting our community!
This event is hosted by the key delivery partner for the BushBank program.
Info: Hear about the site, its ecological significance and revegetation model, learn how the site adds value to other local landscape projects & meet representatives from the BushBank partner organisations.
Info: Enjoy complimentary light refreshments, ask informal questions, refresh and network as desired.
Info: Experience a guided walk through the area of restoration where you'll see key features, understand challenges & successes and see the work in action.
Info: Ask remaining questions directly to the landowners and team completing the work, before we close out with key takeaways from the morning.
