クリエイティブレーベルw.a.uのR&Bシンガー。 ダンサーとしての活動経験によって幼少期からATCQやMobb Deep、Soulquariansなどの90年代ヒップホップ/R&Bを中心に様々なブラックミュージックに影響を受ける。力が抜けつつも独特の太さを持った歌声を有しており、時にラップもこなすような高いポテンシャルも兼ね備える、日本では稀有な本格派R&Bシンガーである。自身の音源をリリースする前からw.a.uのバンドセットですでに黒田卓也、鋭児、 さらさ、VivaOla、Wez Atlasなど第一線のアーティスト達と共演を果たし、2nd Singleとしてリリースした'Do The Thing'はクラブバンガーとして国内外問わず多くのDJによってプレイされた。4th Singleの'Drafts'は各ストリーミングサービスの著名プレイリストに相次いでリストイン。ブラックミュージックのあらゆる文脈を内包しつつ現代的なR&Bの解釈が施された楽曲によって今まさに注目のアーティストである。 Through her experience as a dancer, reina, an R&B artist from a creative collective called w.a.u, was influenced by various black music from her childhood, especially 90's hip-hop/R&B such as ATCQ, Mobb Deep, and Soulquarians. She is a rare R&B singer in Japan who has a unique, rich voice but relaxed and with yet distinctive quality, and also the ability to rap at times. Even before releasing her own songs, she had already performed with various artists such as Takuya Kuroda, Salasa, VivaOla, Wez Atlas, and other leading artists in w.a.u.'s band sets. Her second single, "Do The Thing," was played by many DJs both in Japan and abroad as a club banger. The fourth single, "Drafts", has been listed on many prominent playlists on streaming services. Her songs which encompass all aspects of black music with a modern interpretation of R&B, have made her a remarkable artist to watch.
