About Raphaela Gromes

Raphaela Gromes received her first cello lessons at the age of 4. She is exclusiv SONY Classical Artist. Hommage à Rossini (2018), Offenbach (2019), and Richard Strauss – Cello Sonatas (2020) – presented spectacular world premiere recordings by Jacques Offenbach and Richard Strauss, and were praised by critics and fans alike - She collaborated with Kent Nagano and the Czech Philharmonic, Andrea Marcon and MDR Radio Orchestra, Christoph Altstaedt and the Beethoven Orchestra Bonn, Pietari Inkinen and the Radio Philharmonic Saarbrücken, Aziz Shokhakimov and Dresden Philharmonic, and Shao-Chia Lü and The Macao Orchestra amongst others. She is regularly on tour with Festival Strings Lucerne, and has already been invited to play at such venues as the Tonhalle Zürich, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Konzerthaus Berlin, and Konzerthaus Wien. She is also going to perform as a soloist in the current season with the Elbphilharmonie Orchester at Hamburgs famed Elbphilharmonie.
