colours in the dark is an instrumental project started in 2020 by Daniel Sander, a Brazilian producer, multi-instrumentalist and music curator. With a unique melancholic & nostalgic yet peaceful atmosphere, “colours in the dark” represents the diversity of sounds, tones and inks that the musician uses to bring more colour to the dark moments of life, helping people to relax, focus, sleep and overcome anxieties. Sander believes that beauty exists in simplicity, in the creation of relaxing melodies, which evoke profound emotions even without the use of words. As a music curator, he is most known as the creator of the “sleepy lofi” genre: colours is the curator of the iconic playlist lofi sleep, lofi rain 💤 and founder of Sleep Tales, the biggest record label focused on music to help people sleep better.
