About Ball Park Music

Ball Park Music are Sam Cromack (vocals, guitar), Jennifer Boyce (bass, vocals), Dean Hanson (guitar), Daniel Hanson (drums), and Paul Furness (keyboards). Having stuck together for over a decade, the five piece met while studying music at university in Brisbane. The unnamed band found themselves with a gig and opted to use Sam Cromack's teenage solo project name, Ball Park Music, as their moniker.
Drawing on the alt-rock scene of the 90s and the golden hits of the 60s for inspiration, the group have released six very impressive albums, four of which have scored top 5 spots on the ARIA official Album Chart.
They were picked up by triple j in 2010 and are still championed with high rotation on the station today. In 2020 their single “It’s Nice To Be Alive” landed at #17 on triple j’s Hottest 100 of the decade.
Embarking on their first major tour in 2011, Ball Park Music have continued to tour the country and have also taken their incredible live show across the globe. The group have played major festivals including Splendour In The Grass, Big Day Out, Falls Festival, Groovin The Moo, SXSW, CMJ, Reeperbahn and many more.
