The Midwest Sport & Ski Council are bringing back “Summer Carnival”. For 2025 we are going to the “Heart” of the Brainerd Lakes area, Brezzy Point Resort on Pelican Lake. Summer Carnival has 3-days of activities planned, including pontoon excursions (additional cost), golf (additional cost), pickleball, hiking, biking, and much, much MORE!
Pontoon excursions are scheduled for Thursday evening, Friday and Saturday afternoon. Excursion time is reserved for about 4-hours. Friday & Saturday have a planned stop at Gooseberry Island. Gooseberry Island is the “Hot Spot” of the Pelican Lake with low level shoreline and white sand throughout the island.
This is an optional pre-purchase cost activity.
Golfing is also scheduled for 9-hole rounds both Friday and Saturday AM. Friday will be 9-hole” Scramble” at Breezy Point’s “Traditional Course”. The Traditional course is a favorite Brainerd area golf course. This is a “shot maker’s” course that rewards accuracy over power and is enjoyed by golfers of all abilities. Saturday 9-hole “Scramble” will be at the “Whitebirch” of Breezy Point. This championship course features over 6700 yards of lush fairways and huge undulating greens with multiple tee boxes. Add to that trees, sand and water and you have what many consider the best championship golf value in the Brainerd Lakes Area. Do not let the word “Championship” scare you. We are playing to see this courses beauty, majestic fairways, enjoy the most beautiful green’s that are in and around the Brainerd Lakes area.
Other activities that will be available during your stay are; utilizing the marina rentals (kayaks, paddle boats, etc. at an additional cost) tennis & pickleball, biking, and hiking. Shopping is also close by with shops from Crosslake, Nisswa, and Pequot Lakes just under 15 minuets away.
