Clark Nature Preserve
400 House Rock Road, Pequea, United States
Come out to help us maintain Clark Nature Preserve. We will be working on invasive plant removal as part of a comprehensive eco-restoration program.
What to Expect: We will be working on potentially steep, uneven terrain with multiple trip hazards using sharp hand tools to remove invasive species. Hand tools and work gloves will be provided. There is a port-a-john available on site. This event is for ages 10 and up (participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult).
What to Bring: Dress for the weather; long pants and closed toe shoes are a must. Bring drinking water. Feel free to bring your own gloves.
Event Leader: Interpretive Ranger Rachel Haynes loves discovering new places and basking in the lush glens tucked along the Susquehanna.
Animal Policy: Service animals active or in training are welcome. Please leave all pets at home.
Cancellation Policy: This event will be held rain or shine, with cancellation for severe weather made at the time of the event. If the Conservancy reschedules the event, attendees will be emailed, and tickets will be automatically moved to the new date. If the Conservancy cancels the event, attendees will be notified via email and refunded.
