Jake picked up a guitar at only 8 years old, and hasn't put it down since. It wasn't long before he began writing songs and playing for anybody who would listen, a hobby that never grew old. At age 19, he enlisted in the Navy as a Hospital Corpsman, specializing as a surgical tech. Throughout his enlistment he continued to write, and at the urging of other sailors, self-produced and released his album "Songs That Got Me Here". After 5 years, he separated from the military to pursue a career in music, playing 104 shows his first year and releasing his homecoming album "Indigo".
The following year he released a handful of singles, and in 2023 Mach released his “Valley Tapes" EP, a collaborative effort with Grammy-nominated artist Troy Engle, that highlighted his lyrics with a modern take on traditional country music. He continues to write in the spirit of the 80's and 90's, and his performances showcase his immense range and soulful delivery.
