Join vocalist Mardra and pianist Reggie Thomas for an unforgettable evening of exhilarating piano and vocal swing with the Central Illinois Jazz Society. Experience the unmistakable essence of Basie stylings, masterfully delivered by Thomas, who currently occupies the prestigious Count’s chair in the legendary orchestra. The ever-popular CIJS House Band under the leadership of Larry Harms kicks off the evening, featuring outstanding jazz musicians from the area. They present a variety of jazz standards and other popular arrangements. Always a delight!
