Place and Displacement: Panel Discussion 2

The PHS “Place and Displacement: Urban Renewal in Peoria’s Southtown” exhibition opened to a standing-room only crowd, so don’t miss out on the final panel discussion coming up Wednesday, May 14 at George Washington Carver Community Center, 710 W. Percy Baker Jr. Avenue. From 5:30-6:30 p.m., view hundreds of photographs of the Peoria neighborhood once known as Southtown—and from 6:30 to 8 p.m., hear a panel discussion with community stakeholders on the roots and results of urban renewal.
