Hello Pour Bros. faithful!
We’re inviting you to something truly special called PinDrop sessions. PinDrop sessions is a stripped-down, authentic, acoustic ongoing concert series, designed to give greater exposure and expanded audience to songwriters and storytellers in the midwest and beyond. An idea born in Moline IL at our Pour Bros. location, Pindrop is the brainchild of a great musician in his own right Lewis Knudsen. This is a very intimate listening room experience that focuses on the raw talent of each musician.
On Sunday, September 14th, PinDrop Sessions arrives in Peoria Heights at Pour Bros. Craft Taproom for the first time, and this one is going to be unforgettable.
We’re thrilled to welcome Jim Avett as our featured guest. Jim isn’t just the father of Seth and Scott Avett (of The Avett Brothers)—he’s a gifted songwriter and storyteller in his own right. He’s shared the stage at Red Rocks with his sons, and even John Prine, also been featured in the HBO documentary May It Last, and is known for music that blends gospel, folk, and Americana with warmth and wisdom. This is a rare chance to experience his songs and stories up close in an intimate setting.
But Jim won’t be the only star of the night—our lineup is stacked with incredible talent, each bringing something unique to the PinDrop stage:
✨Seth Cocquit - “Seth has been writing songs, playing fiddle, and performing music around Central Illinois for several years mostly centered around his 37 years on God’s green earth. “Seth has been writing songs and performing music around Central Illinois for several years mostly centered around his 37 years on God’s green earth. Americana Highways said Seth ‘crafts majestic songs of the history of the people as the fabric of America, sewn together with Midwestern images.’”
✨Daniel Watkins - Daniel Watkins grew up in Henry, a small town in the Illinois River Valley. Inspired by traveling folk musicians, he began studying music and performing on his own. Known for his clean flatpicking and bluegrass chops, Daniel was recently invited to fill in on guitar for Henhouse Prowlers on their tour through Kazakhstan.
✨ Jim Avett – Blending gospel, folk, and Americana with warmth, wisdom, and stories that linger long after the music ends.
