Our pre-season Work Day will be held on Saturday morning, July 19. Tasks will range from general cleaning (windows, bathrooms, dusting and vacuuming) to paint touch-ups and reorganizing. Everyone is welcome!
There will be 2 shifts open that day -- 8:00 to 10:00 am and 10:00 am to noon.
DUTIES:
LOBBIES
Clean all glass doors in front and inner lobbies
Wash both set of double doors separating lobbies – wood and glass panels
Touch up any grey paint as needed on walls or doors in front and inner lobbies
Mop front lobby floor
Vacuum inner lobby carpet
Dust glass lights in front lobby
Paint black railings in side hallway
Wash concrete window sills along stairs in side hallway
Organize closet under light booth stairs
Organize/clean corner of inner lobby under coat rack
Dust top of and underneath black table in inner lobby
Clean mirror in inner lobby
Dust the tops of and underneath all radiators in front and inner lobbies
Touch up gold paint on antique ticket-taker in inner lobby
Clean concession area – Wash bar and counter tops, clean inside of both refrigerators and freezers
Empty garbages
AUDITORIUM
Wash backs of all auditorium seats
Sweep concrete platform in back of auditorium
Wash all 3 sets of double doors, inside and outside
Vacuum carpet
Fix curtain pulls on both sides for auditorium entry
Touch up black paint on back wall of auditorium
Purge old Christmas décor from loft, stage left
Empty garbages
RESTROOMS
Deep clean!
Wash counters, vanity cabinet doors, mirrors and sinks
Wash handrails in handicap-accessible restroom
Clean toilets and urinals
Wash stall walls
Mop floors
Stock with hand towels and toilet paper
Empty garbages
OUTSIDE
Pull weeds/cut down weeds
Paint fence by a/c unit
Touch up red paint on railing leading down to makeup department
Touch up white paint on planters in front
Sand/touch up green paint on picnic table
Sweep front entryway
Clean/sweep/organize loading dock area
