SYNOPSIS:
This is a stripped back staging of Rogers and Hammerstein’s very first musical tells the tale of a confident cowboy that competes with a sulky mysterious farmhand for the honor of taking a lovely farm woman to a dance highlights the darker aspects of the human experience while continuing to blend in familiar dance ensemble numbers which fans of the 1940s Golden Age classic know and love.
