New River Trail Project Celebration

Join the City of Peoria for a morning of celebration and discovery along the New River Trail!

We’re excited to unveil several new features, including the new pedestrian bridge on Stadium Trail and the new maintenance yard, while showcasing ongoing efforts to keep our river corridor clean and beautiful through the M.O.R.E. Division (Maintenance of River and Environment) initiative.

Come explore what’s new and learn more about the City’s work to enhance trails, parks, and sustainability in Peoria.

8:30am:
Ribbon Cutting

9am-Noon:
Walking and cart tours of trail improvements
Educational demonstrations and displays
Free breakfast (while supplies last)
City departments and partner organization booths
