Join us for an engaging session led by an Occupational Therapist, designed to help child care providers incorporate the use of Spot of Emotions curriculum to assist in co-regulation strategies and big emotions. This training will provide knowledge regarding emotions related to a “spot”, ideas to teach and incorporate these spots into daily activities, as well as additional strategies to support emotional learning and regulation in young kids.
Key topics include:
* Understanding emotions and regulation
* Spot of Emotions key concepts
* Activities and practical strategies to incorporate Spots in the classroom
* Signs that may indicate further social emotional concerns and when to consider Early Intervention Referral/Occupational Referrals
