That lil’ redhead is back on the Peoria Players stage after 14 years! Annie will warm audiences with the combination of her street smarts and optimism. This musical gives us a peek into the Depression at the city orphanage and in Hooverville, plus a glimpse of the extremely wealthy, Daddy Warbucks. The show has wonderful characters -- the orphans, Grace, Ms. Hannigan, Rooster, Lily St. Regis, Bert Healy, Boylan Sisters, President Roosevelt, Hooverville folks, the Cabinet members, along with a great ensemble of New Yorkers!! And we can’t forget our darling dog, Sandy (Sandy has already auditioned). There are tons of roles in this wonderful show! Leapin Lizards -- Come to auditions!

NOTES FROM THE DIRECTOR
I am so thankful for the talented production team that we put together for this show. I am excited to work together and help put on this wonderful show. It is with equal excitement to have you come to our auditions. The talent in Central Illinois is awesome. Our auditions will be held at First Christian Church (next to the post office on N. University in Peoria) on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, August 14, 15 and 16. We have special times set up for the children (6-14) auditioning for Annie, Orphans, Boys and Girls of Hooverville. A Sign-Up Genius link will be posted here soon. There are certain songs for various parts that we are asking you to sing. If you do not see a song listed for the character you are auditioning for, please sing any song as long as it is from a BROADWAY MUSICAL! (about 2 minutes).
