Penticton BMX Track Setup & Operation

Join Mike this Thursday at 5pm (30 minutes before practice starts) for a walk-through and Q&A of setting up the track and dropping the gate on practices and race days! Mike will cover what we store in the moto shed, setting up the compressor/start gate, watering the track (why we do it), general maintenance of the track surface, and finally how we stage riders and drop the gate.

The goal of this walk-through is to show interested volunteers how we get set up each week for practice/racing, so that more people can confidently help out when needed.

We expect that this will take roughly an hour to go through. Come on out at see how it all works!
