Vancouver/Okanagan-based, BC-born Aaron Loewen plays an exciting and stylish style of retro jazz, as if it were plucked straight from the streets of 1930s Paris or a Roma caravan in the European countryside.
Aaron’s live show interweaves 1930s-inspired Django Reinhardt jazz guitar with a smattering of vocal melodies of classic American jazz standards popularized by artists such as The Mills Brothers, The Ink Spots, Fats Waller and more—though sometimes a Bill Withers or Bobby Hebb tune may sneak its way in there ;)
