Workshop Objectives:
In this 90-minute workshop, participants will:

Understand the impact: Learn about the potential impacts of social media on mental health, including both positive and negative effects.

Practice mindful use: Develop strategies for using social media in a mindful and intentional way to avoid common pitfalls such as overuse or comparison traps.

Balance online and offline life: Explore ways to balance online interactions with real-world relationships and activities and learn to set healthy boundaries to unplug and recharge.

Identify support resources and build a positive online presence: Develop skills for creating a positive online presence including strategies for managing privacy settings, navigating online communities and dealing with negative interactions.
