Visiting from one of the historic staples of the art of tease, The Official La Reina is joining 309 Punk Project residency at 309 N 6th Ave to share their work as a documentarian and Living Burlesque History. The Living Lens is a one-of-a-kind event that showcases the photography of Black Burlesque Performers, with a special section of intersecting the artists of the past with their counterpart in the present. Learn the history of Burlesque and Black Burlesque now in the soft launch of their coproduction of the through the award winning performer, The Official La Reina, explore their photography of performers around the world today, and enjoy a demo Burlesque performance.
Coined as "The Ten Minute Stare Down", La Reina is a New Orleans cryptid hatched from the heart of Compton, a being of mysterious wonder with a taste for the hunt and sure to leave shivers down your spine.
Voted #2 in the World Top 50 Most Influential Burlesque Performers in 2024, Crowned as the Queen of Sin City Burlesque 2024 and Supreme of Savannah 2024 of the Hostess City Hoedown.
