Street photography is about more than just snapping candid shots—it's about understanding the ethics, finding stories in everyday moments, and approaching the streets with purpose. This class introduces the foundational principles of street photography, helping you build confidence while respecting your subjects and surroundings.
We dive into creative ideas and storytelling techniques, all illustrated with real street imagery to bring the lessons to life. You’ll also get tips on choosing the right gear and lenses to suit your style, so you can make the most of every outing, whether you're shooting with a compact setup or a full-frame camera.
Timing is everything in street photography, and we explore how different times of day affect lighting, mood, and activity. Plus, we tackle the often-overlooked question: what do you do with all your images? From editing to organizing to sharing, we guide you on turning your street captures into meaningful visual narratives.
This class is for everyone, regardless of skill level, camera brand or type.
