NEW TANGO Beginner's Series

Argentine Tango 4-week beginner's series to the music of NEW TANGO/TANGO NUEVO
- Each lesson we will focus on a fundamental figure/concept
- Preparing you to social dance in 4 easy lessons
- Learning the differences between New Tango and Traditional

5-6 pm Beginner's lesson
6-7 pm Intermediate lesson + practice (beginners welcome to stay and practice with other levels)

$60 individual/$100 couple

No experience needed. For better men-to-women ratio, we encourage people to sign up with a partner (can be your friend/family/partner) but if you are signing up alone you will find people to practice with in the class since we rotate and the instructors work with everyone.

For both men and women, rubber on the sole is not good for dancing. Suede or leather sole preferred, or a sole that is very worn will do well for turns. You don't want to stick when you turn.
For women, a small heel is encouraged and closed toes.
