Lindsay Keeling, "Present Spaces"
August 18 – December 12, 2025
Switzer Gallery
Lindsay Keeling is a studio artist who exhibits her abstract landscape paintings at galleries and festivals across the Southeast. Keeling studied Studio Art, Marketing, and Entrepreneurship at the University of Tennessee, and she obtained her MBA at the University of West Florida. Throughout her career, Keeling has volunteered with numerous arts organizations, notably serving as Exhibition Director on the board of Artel Gallery in Pensacola, Florida. After relocating to western North Carolina, she now serves as the Programs Coordinator for her local arts council.
Keeling's exhibition, "Present Spaces", explores the intersection of place, emotion, and personal presence. Through vibrant yet peaceful compositions, the work invites viewers to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with a grounded sense of self. Each painting becomes a site of stillness, where color, texture, and horizon lines open space for clarity and calm.
The exhibition will be on display in the Switzer Gallery from August 18 – December 12, 2025, and Keeling will be presenting an artist lecture in the Lamar Lecture Hall (Room 1513) on September 23, 2025 starting @ 5:30pm. A reception will follow, and the event is free and open to the public!
