Independence for the Blind enthusiastically invites the community to our 4th Annual Thanksgiving event at noon, Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at Independence for the Blind at 3107 North Davis Highway.
The purpose is to celebrate the abilities of persons who are blind or visually impaired and to emphasize the importance of the training that takes place here day after day. The clients will work with instructors to prepare the meals for all to enjoy.
This is a wonderful opportunity to gain knowledge and be exposed to organizations in our area who offer assistance to those with disabilities as well as those who are ageing.
Lunch will be provided for all guests at no cost.
Space is limited. RSVP to Raven Holloway at 850.477.2663 or

About Independence for the Blind Programs
Our Mission is to teach independent living skills, computer and adaptive technology and to provide vocational training and employment-related services to people who are blind or visually impaired so they can achieve maximum independence. We are partially funded by the Florida department of Education, the Division of the Blind Services and United Way. We rely on donations to meet the need for service.
