Join us on a 3-day cycling adventure following the West Kernow Way long-distance cycling route. We'll average around 50 miles a day, staying in the busy port of Penzance and the picturesque fishing village of Porthleven. We have sourced two lovely campsites, in Penzance and Porthleven, both within a short walk to local amenities and the sea. However, both Penzance and Porthleven offer a variety of accommodations if you would rather not camp.
What's Included:
3 days guided riding
Camping Thursday, Friday & Saturday
Evening meal on Thursday (Arrival day)
Option for campfire Thursday (weather permitting)
Breakfast on Friday
Free secure car parking for the weekend
Indoor space for bike fettling on arrival and departure days

Phil, your guide, will meet you on arrival day and join you on each day of cycling, staying with you until departure on Sunday. Phil, a qualified bike mechanic with over 15 years of experience guiding, will be available to assist with bike setup and dismantling on arrival and departure.
We meet on Thursday evening to discuss plans for the next few days over a home-cooked meal. After dinner, we will have time to do some bike fettling in the comfort of the sports barn. Later, there should be time to relax around a campfire, weather permitting, or a log burner if not, telling tall tales and getting to know one another.
After a continental-style breakfast on Friday, we will aim for pedals down at 0930. For the more intrepid adventures and those that want to rise a little earlier, there will be an opportunity for a dip in a freshwater quarry and a chance to watch the sunrise with coffee, overlooking Falmouth Bay.
Each day will have a similar flow, aiming to leave between 0900 and 0930, with a coffee stop around 1100 and lunch around 1230, with hopefully over half of the daily mileage complete. Leaving the afternoon free from rush.
Day 1 will take us across to the rugged north coast, travelling through the heart of Cornwall and its rich mining history. From the village of Portreath, we head back inland, ending with a stunning view of St Michael's Mount.
Day 2 will take us as far west as possible, with a chance to visit Land's End and stunning views across Sennen Bay. As we head inland, we will traverse the remote moors of West Cornwall, passing standing stones and ancient monuments.
Day 3 takes us onto The Lizard Peninsula and as far south as possible to the stunning Lizard Point. As we head along the easterly edge of the peninsula, we’ll have an opportunity for an ice cream at the famous Roskillys Farm to fuel us for our return. Along the way, we’ll ride through the beautiful fishing villages of Cadgwith and Gweek.
